Liam started out playing hockey, but in practice would end up just skating in circles. He started skating with a local club in short track and switched to long track this past season. His inspiration is Dan Weinstein, who was his first short track coach who also balanced school with high-level competition when he was Liam's age. Outside of skating, Liam enjoys cross-country skiing, running track, and mountain biking. He's an avid coin collector and photographer.
