How did you get into speedskating? A coach from my local club saw me skating on a public session and asked if I would like to give short track a try.
What is your most memorable speedskating moment? Competing in my first Olympic Trials this past year.
What movie or book have you seen/read recently you would recommend? Why? The movie the Good the Bad and the Weird. Its a Korean movie that is a modern remake of Clint Eastwood’s the Good the Bad and the Ugly. The story is a little different but the characters are great and dialogue is pretty funny.
Favorite food? Korean food
Who is your celebrity crush? I don’t have celebrity crushes.
Dream job? I would love to have an engineering job with BMW or Audi.
Favorite city? Pittsburgh, PA. Greatest city on the planet

One thing I have promised myself to do someday is… BASE jump in a wing suit
What is your charity involvement? I am currently representing a local charity from back home in Pittsburgh called Ballou Skies. Their focus is to raise awareness for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy and to raise funds for research study at Ohio State University. They are a great group of people and I hope I can help their efforts.
What was the best thing that happened to you this past week? I found a pair of jeans that actually fit me.
What are your plans after speedskating? I really don’t have any specific plans just a broad idea of some things I would like to do, like attend university or maybe join the military.
Do you have any good luck charms/superstitions/routines? I always get dressed the exact same way and put on my equipment in the exact same order.
