NORTH SHORE SPEEDSKATING ACADEMY presents:
LONG TRACK CAMP WITH BRIAN HANSEN
Join three-time Olympian and Olympic Silver Medalist Brian Hansen for a weekend of training and personal program development in Long Track Speedskating!
There will be sessions both ON and OFF the ice, INDOORS and OUTDOORS, as well as opportunities for fireside chats and community-building activities.
Geared for the intermediate/advanced skater prepping for USS Long Track Age Group Nationals,
or any dedicated speedskater Junior D and older looking to "level up."
Projected schedule:
JANUARY 26, 2024
-Ice Practice and Dryland 4pm-6pm
Pettit National Ice Center Pack Session
500 South 84th Street, Milwaukee WI
-Group dinner with community building activity
-Evening – Kick session in the hotel pool/recovery foam roll and stretch
JANUARY 27, 2024
-ISU TIME TRIALS 9:30am-12:30pm
-Group lunch and Video Analysis
-Afternoon - Outdoor skate (weather permitting) and/or winter hill run
-Evening – Discuss personal training goals and receive guidance for developing individualized training programs
JANUARY 28, 2024
-Ice Practice 10-12:30pm - starts/accels/technical/short interval sets
