At the 2026 Olympic Team Trials - Long Track, Casey Dawson qualified to represent Team USA at the Olympic Winter Games Milano Cortina 2026 in February. This is Casey’s second Olympic Games.

At the Pettit National Ice Center in Milwaukee, WI, Casey Dawson won the 5000m race in a time of 6:12.857, earning a spot on the 2026 Olympic Team. Dawson has also qualified to race the 10000m at the Olympic Games, based on his World Cup results during the 2025-26 season.

"Finally, hopefully, get my chance to skate [the 5000m] from not being able to skate because of COVID last time around. I'm just happy to finally secure my spot and also have a 10k spot to go with it. I'm excited to get the Games and show 'em what I got." Casey said after seeing the final 5k results.

For the women’s competition, Greta Myers won the 3000m in a time of 4:06.799. She is currently the first alternate to race the distance at the 2026 Winter Olympic Games.
