2024 Utah Olympic Oval Desert Classic

This is the opening event of the 2023/2024 season and will provide the great opportunity to work on your technical racing skills in an enjoyable environment.

The event is open to international participation.

Entry Deadline:

August 2^nd at 5pm MT

Late entries accepted until August 7^th  5pm MT. A $100 late entry fee charge will apply

Preliminary Schedule:

Saturday: 7:30-8:20 WU, Races 9:00am

Sunday: 7:30-8:20 WU, Races 9:00am

Coaches Meeting:

Friday, August 11^th at 5pm MT

A Zoom link will be sent to all eligible coaches named by their athletes during the registration process.

Official Training:

Official Training is available complimentary on

Friday, August 11^th from 3-4:30pm-  north ice sheet

Volunteers:

Please contact LeeAnn Lio at LLio@uolf.org if you would like to volunteer during the event.  

Eligibility:

• All skaters who are a member of their NGB
• International skaters who are a member of a foreign NGB

Athlete Check-In:

All athletes are required to pick up their helmet cover and transponders either in person or via a designated individual on Friday, August 11^th  12:00-3:00pm at the Utah Olympic Admin Offices

• All skaters are REQUIRED to pick up transponders during this time ONLY. There will be no check-in available on day of competition. Lost or not returned transponders will be charged at $100 per unit. Lost helmet cover will be charged at $20 per cover
