Kenneth Bartholomew

Ken was born February 10, 1920. During his life he became the National Outdoor Champion fourteen times (in 1939, 1941, 1942, 1947, 1950-57, 1959, and 1960). He also won the North American Outdoor Championship in 1941, 1942, and 1956. Ken won the silver medal in the 500m at the 1948 Olympics in St. Moritz, Switzerland. He was inducted into the National Speedskating Hall of Fame on May 18, 1968 in St. Louis, Missouri.
