John S. Johnson

John was born May 11, 1873 and passed away sometime in 1934. He was inducted into the National Speedskating Hall of Fame on May 14, 1960 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He was a World Champion who reached his peak in 1908. John was also a cyclist and was the first to bike one mile in less than two minutes, with a time of 1:56.6.
