Jeanne Omelenchuk

Jeanne was born March 25, 1931 and passed away in June of 2008. She was a ten time National and North American Outdoor champion in the Senior Class (1957-1965), two time U.S. Open champion, four time U.S. World Team member, and a three time Olympic Team member (1960, 1968, 1972). Throughout this time she also set four National Outdoor Records. She was the first woman to win a National title in more than one major sport, winning six National Bicycle Racing titles. Jeanne was inducted to the National Speedskating Hall of Fame on May 19, 1984 in Northbrook, Illinois.
