Gene Sandvig
Gene was born February 8, 1931. He has been a member of two Olympic teams and won the titles of National and North American Outdoor Champion. He now serves as a national official and an active promoter of the sport. His peak year was primarily 1959. He was inducted to the National Speedskating Hall of Fame on May 24, 1970 in Buffalo, New York.
