The Pettit National Ice Center is excited to be hosting U.S. Olympic Trials Long Track in Milwaukee January 2- January 5, 2026. Top speed skaters from across the United States will compete in the 500m, 1000m, 1500m, 3000m (women) and 5000m (men), as well as the Mass Start.

Included in the athletes competing will be Jordan Stolz, Milwaukee native, current World Record holder in the 1000m and 6x World Champion. Also in attendance will be 500 Meter Olympic Champion Erin Jackson, 1000 Meter & Team Pursuit Olympic Bronze Medalist Brittany Bowe, Team Pursuit Bronze Medalist Mia Manganello, Team Pursuit Olympic Bronze Medalists Emery Lehman, Ethan Cepuran, and Casey Dawson are all expected to compete.

Friday January 2, 2026– Women 3000m, Men 5000m, 5:00pm-7:00pm

Saturday January 3, 2026– Women/Men 1000m, 3:00pm-5:00pm (Less than 500 tickets remain!)

Sunday January 4, 2026–Women/Men 500m #1, Women/Men 1500m, 1:00pm-5:00pm (Less than 375 tickets remain!)

Monday January 5, 2026– Women/Men Mass Start #1, Women/Men 500m #2, Women/Men Mass Start #2, 3:30pm-7:00pm (Less than 900 tickets remain!)

Standard 400m indoor oval

This event will serve as the U.S. selection event for the 2026 Olympic Winter Games.

The event is open to US citizens with current USS membership and applicable qualifying standards.

Prerequisite to participate in the 2026 U.S. Olympic Team Trials is your submission of the signed

2026 Trials Participation Agreement.

Entry Deadline:

December 23rd , 2025 at 5pm MT

Entry Fee: $125

Late entries accepted until December 29th at 5pm MT. A $100 late entry fee charge will apply.

Preliminary Schedule:

Friday approx.. 16:00-19:00: 3000m Women, 5000m Men

Saturday approx. 15:00-17:00: 1000m Women & Men

Sunday approx. 13:00-17:00: 500m (1) Women & Men, 1500m Women & Men

Monday approx. 15:30-19:00: 500 (2) Women & Men, Mass Start Women & Men*

*Mass Start is limited to 24 skaters per gender

Coaches Meeting and Draw:

Thursday: 5:00pm virtual

A Zoom link will be sent to all eligible coaches named by their athletes during the registration process.

Official Training:

Official Training is available complimentary on
