Short Track Speedskating Race

REGISTRATION will open on Sunday, December 17^th at 8:00 am.  All of the information about the race can be found on the website: https://presidential-cup.org. 

The race will be held President’s Weekend

• Friday, February 16^th: Practice Ice 6-9 pm

• Saturday, February 17^th & Sunday, February 18^th: Race Days!

Officials Training Clinic: Our Officials, Tommy Porter and Dan Fiorenza, will be hosting an Officials Training Clinic with instruction on Friday night from 5:00 pm - 6:30 pm. and practical experience starting races throughout the competition weekend. This session will be an overview of the Short Track Rules/Regulations and will be open to all skaters, families, and our “Officials in Training” who will be learning through instruction by our accomplished team during the race weekend. 

Volunteers: We are always in need of volunteers. We encourage you to reach out even if you have no experience. We offer lunch both days, and you are guaranteed to meet a number of wonderful people from across the speedskating community. USS SafeSport Reporting Requirements: As a US Speedskating sanctioned competition, we adhere to the SafeSport policies outlined in the attached document detailing the Minor Athlete Abuse Prevention Policies (MAAPP). Please review the MAAPP documents prior to the event.
