2026 Interscholastic Speed Skating Challenge

2026 Interscholastic Speedskating ChallengeJoin us for the 2nd Interscholastic Speedskating Challenge, a competition that celebrates school pride and promotes youth participation in speedskating. This event will continue the optional inclusion of school names during the registration process, enabling skaters to represent not only themselves but also their schools. Designed to build team spirit and increase the sport's visibility within school communities, this event invites young athletes to race with pride on behalf of their school and their passion for the ice.
Each division will award individual medals to the top three finishers. Meanwhile, all skaters will earn points for their respective schools based on their rankings in the competition. Total school points will be tallied at the end of the competition, and trophies will be presented to the top three-ranked schools.

Registration Deadline: 11:59 PM CT, July 1, 2026
Racing Format: Competitions grouped by skater ability level
Fee: $60 per skater (all fees are non-refundable)
Late Registration Policy: Late registrations will be accepted until 11:59 PM CT, July 2nd, 2026, with a non-refundable late fee of $40.
Withdrawal Policy: Withdrawals due to skater's medical reasons require a signed doctor's note. No refunds will be issued for non-medical withdrawals or no-shows.
