COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Top performances throughout November earned Paralympic track & field athlete Tatyana McFadden (Clarksville, Md.) and short track speedskater J.R. Celski (Federal Way, Wash.) Athlete of the Month recognition, while the U.S. men’s 5,000-meter speedskating relay team received the Team of the Month honors, the United States Olympic Committee announced today.

The moment was unforgettable.
Brittany Bowe raised her arms triumphantly into the air as a video board at the Utah Olympic Oval flashed "World Record" on Nov. 17. She slapped hands with her coach as she skated by him on her cool-down lap. Her record time in the ladies 1,000-meter race at the World Cup event: 1 minute, 12.58 seconds.
