HOW DID YOU GET INTO SPEEDSKATING?
When I was a baby, I was already skating. My parents owned a roller rink, and I learned to skate around the same time I learned to walk. In 2007, I made the transtion from inlines to ice.

At the 2012 Single Distance Championships, I won both time trials. It was the best feeling because I was well on my way to making my first World Cup team and all my hard work for the last six years was paying off.

I can change and dictate the pace (speed up or slow the pack) to what I want.

WHAT IS THE BEST ADVICE THAT YOU HAVE EVER BEEN GIVEN?
Don't make the mistake of skating like someone else. Go skate like you.
