A family friend recommended it to us; I started out as a short tracker at the Northbrook Speed Skating club with Rob Darrow.
WHAT IS YOUR MOST MEMORABLE SPEEDSKATING MOMENT?
Beating the Dutch in the 2010 Olympics in the team pursuit.

Herniating a disc in my lower back right before the 2010 Olympic season.

Going to summer camps in places like Southern Germany, Norway, California, or Northern Michigan.

Go swimming, play beach volleyball or be outside doing some sort of adventurous activity.
WHAT IS SOMETHING INTERESTING ABOUT YOURSELF THAT NO ONE KNOWS?
-I am one of the only current skaters to train independently of the national team my entire life.
-The Swider-Peltz family (coach Nancy Sr. and training partners, Jeff Jr. and Nancy Jr.) and me have been a team for around 11 years.
-During high school, my parents drove me 2.5 hours round trip to Milwaukee to train.
