Welcome to the World of Speed Skating!
Speed skating is a sport that anyone from age 2 to 102, can enjoy for a lifetime. Some remain involved as a recreational skater and some set goals to compete in the Olympic Games. As a skating parent, it is important to both love and encourage your young skater to do their best, but most importantly to have fun. You are the first line support system both on and off the ice; follow their lead as to the level of skating they desire to take themselves whether that is a weekly practice or striving to one day make a national team.
