So you’ve started your club…now what? Time to get the word out and start marketing to your local community. Here are a few tips to get you off on the right foot. • Your marketing should be extensive, but not expensive…be creative! • KISS RULE (keep it simple stupid). • Social Media, Social Media, Social Media. • Whatever you do, be consistent. Don’t start and stop. • Have clear objectives. What are you trying to accomplish? • Have a way to measure the results of your efforts. • Network in your community • Develop a relationship with the local reporters in your area. • Get community organizations involved in promoting your events.
