SHORT TRACK RACING CONCLUDES IN OMAHA
Tuesday: Mar//19The 2013 US Speedskating American Cup Finals and Short Track Age Group National Championships concluded at the Moylan Iceplex in Omaha, NE. Over 178 skaters from Alaska to Florida, and all points in between traveled to Omaha to compete in the final event of the 2012-2013 season.At the close of the competition, 2013 American Cup and Age Group Champions were crowned, including Thomas Insuk Hong who claimed his 6th National Age Group Champion title. Hong swept the mens 500m , 777m, 1000m, and 1500m in the Junior C Men's age group.

Sunday: Mar//17The 2013 US Speedskating Short Track American Cup Finals and Short Track Age Group National Championships concluded at the Moylan Iceplex in Omaha, NE today. More than 178 skaters from Alaska to Florida, and all points in between traveled to Omaha to close the 2012-2013 season.Age Group Nationals ended with record shattering races each day. Jacqueline Chen, three-time National Age Group Champion and Jr. National Champion, secured her third title today by breaking a record in the Junior B 3000m with a time of 5:35.029. Chen also took the Gold in the 500m, 1000m and 1500m.
