The committees of US Speedskating represent the backbone of our organization. The various committees include members of the Board of Directors, volunteers, staff, officials, coaches, skaters (both active and retired), parents of skaters and individuals interested in the sport of speedskating. Through their efforts, the work of the various Committees helps the Board of Directors and staff deliver the best the sport has to offer drawing from the knowledge and expertise of each member of the respective committee in the area they represent. All members of any committee or sub-committee must be members in good standing of US Speedskating, unless otherwise approved by the Board of Directors, and must be at least 18 years of age.
